Degrassi dating chart

What a let down. As if that wasn't bad enough, Zoe's devastation led her to hook up with Zig herself, torching Zig's relationship with Maya and her own friendship with Grace. This ship went down in flames, but it was fun while it briefly lasted. And Zoe is clearly still carrying a torch for Grace as of Season 16 —— so Grace had best not be dead from that bus crash. The build up to this relationship and, particularly, to their first kiss was top notch.

Throughout Season 15, Jonah and Frankie unexpectedly got closer and closer. In Season 16, he was solidly by her side as she spiraled out of control after she was blacklisted for being racist. All of the best "Next Class" relationships have been put in danger thanks to that bus crash. Tiny and Shay have the greatest ship name yet "Shiny" , and they've got so much in common.

Despite the minor inconvenience of Tiny dating Lola first for far too long , Shiny seemed set to finally embark on the kind of first-love relationship that all the best "Degrassi" romances are made of — only for Tiny to possibly have been killed in the crash.

Drake's Degrassi reunion in his new music video left two snubbed co-stars 'upset'

After initially not particularly liking one another, Drew and Clare became good friends. Then, after Adam's death, Clare's fight with Eli, and Drew and Bianca's breakup, that whirlwind of emotions culminated in one of "Degrassi's" best surprise kisses ever. The subsequent one night stand, pregnancy, and miscarriage was a little much TBH, but the early stages of this romance were firing on all cylinders.

Manny wasn't exactly a "Good Girl" — she made plenty of mistakes, but she grew to be one of the show's greatest characters by the time she left for good. Jay was far worse than Manny ever was, cheating on Alex with — well, everyone — and giving Emma gonorrhea, but being with Manny made Jay a better person, and by the time they left the show, they were one of the healthiest and most solid couples to wind up endgame.

I'll never forgive this show for dropping the ball on Marco and Dylan. The earliest years of their relationship were so, so cute, and watching newly-out Marco fall head-over-heels into puppy-dog first love with Dylan was the best. So then, of course, Marco catching Dylan cheating on him was heartbreaking. Though they reunited down the line, it was never quite the same — after a bit of long distance, Marco ended things. Dylan also never quite treated Marco as well as Marco treated him.

Drew and Bianca just couldn't quit one another, and I just couldn't quit them. Their relationship was by no means healthy. These two went through a lot together, and Bianca grew so much as a person. These two were likely the "Degrassi" couple most well-suited for one another — their goals, personalities, and interests complimented one another so damn well. Chemistry, after all, is the maker or breaker of ships. Unfortunately, the pairing derailed in Season 10, and the possible-rape in "Love Lockdown" while Holly J was in a relationship with Sav was very not OK.

We'll never know if these two got back together after winding up at Yale together, but things were definitely never the same after their Season 10 breakup. Imogen was one of the show's precious few bisexual characters, and the discovery of her sexuality through her relationship with Fiona was lovely.

Their relationship was consistently supportive and healthy and super fashionable , and it continues to make no sense to me that the two broke up for good when Fiona left for Italy. At the very least, Fiona should have briefly appeared to reunite with Imogen when Imogen left the show — especially since Imogen and Jack broke up in that episode anyway.

Though these two probably hold "Degrassi's" record for most break-ups, they were also consistently together for the longest amount of time. Sure, they went through their share of dramatic nonsense lying about being pregnant, for one , but their love for one another was so palpable that they could never stay away from one another for long.

He wrote a song for her, dammit! In the end, Sav's inability to stand up to his parents and their expectations for him was the nail in the Sanya coffin. Paige and Alex's first kiss was the single best in "Degrassi's" long history. It was so surprising, but simultaneously not surprising at all. The show did a stellar job of gradually building up their friendship and bond before deepening it — in fact, they'd initially hated one another.

The enemies-to-friends, friends-to-lovers combination made Palex a winning pair. Unfortunately, it didn't last — though they reunited after their Season 5 breakup, they split for good at the end of Season 7, when Alex realized that their futures were going in two very different directions. This couple doesn't get enough credit, because they're largely seen as a rival relationship to Sean and Emma's. In reality, Sean and Ellie had tons in common, and genuinely enjoyed being with one another.

Though they were clearly never one another's "true love," they had the kind of functional and fun teenage relationship that would probably have made them endgame in the real world. Though Ellie had been his last girlfriend before he moved away to Wasaga Beach in the aftermath of the school shooting, Sean only had eyes for Emma when he returned in Season 6. The journey from tiny little Liberty crushing on tiny little JT, progressing to their genuinely loving and wonderful relationship, was great.

Sure, they had their issues — like JT's brief and very strange drug addiction and the pain of giving their baby up for adoption — but they were always there for one another when it mattered. JT's "Meatball Sub vs. Oatmeal" speech to Toby shortly before his death was an iconic moment that essentially sealed these two as endgame in my heart, if not in life. Has any other "Degrassi" couple had quite as many ups and downs as Eli and Clare?

Bipolar disorder, cancer, Adam's death, Eli finding Cam's body, pregnancy They went through so much together. Though they each had other significant relationships Clare more so than Eli , they always managed to find their way back to one another. Despite being long distance, they even made it to endgame status by the time both characters departed the series. That's a rarity among "Degrassi's" longest running and most popular couples. Anyone who wants to argue that Craig and Ellie weren't a "real" couple can take several seats.

Ellie loved Craig for years , and Craig, in his own screwed up way, loved Ellie right back. Despite the fact that the two were never officially in a relationship, they deserve to be recognized as the only real "long game" couple "Degrassi" has ever attempted. For season after season, the writers sowed the seeds of Crellie's close, platonic friendship blossoming into something more.

Even throughout her trainwreck of a relationship with Jesse, Ellie's feelings for Craig continued. They kissed in Season 6 when Craig randomly rolled back into town to restart a terrible, short-lived reunion with Manny, but Craig was, at that point, in the throes of drug addiction. When he eventually popped back up recovered in Season 8 when Ellie was struggling with her father's PTSD, it seemed that these two would finally go somewhere — but alas, it went nowhere.

Crellie was the best thing that never quite happened. Sean and Emma were the quintessential "Degrassi" couple — don't me. Early Sean's troubled background made their first go at a relationship a total non-starter, but the first few seasons of the show had so many adorable Semma moments that are impossible to ignore. The first dance picture? The first kiss at Spike and Snake's wedding?

Sean unhesitatingly jumping in front of Emma when Rick pointed the gun at her during the school shooting episode — despite the fact that they hadn't been together for over a year? It pretty much cemented the fact that Emma was Sean's one true love. They adored one another. By the time he showed back up in Season 6, it seemed set that they'd finally make it work for good.

I mean, that reunion kiss in the car? Bizarrely, Sean shipped out for the military and was written off soon after they reunited — and he was never seen or heard from again. It was a travesty of an ending for the two, but that doesn't invalidate how epic this ship was in all the years before that. All 79 'Degrassi' couples, ranked They can't all be endgame. Nov 9, Except, I guess, for polyamory. But give it a few years; I'm sure "Degrassi" will get there.

And so, in celebration of love and our favorite Canadian school system, we're ranking the best "Degrassi" couples from worst to best: I loved having the adult story lines because it made it more real with their interactions with the kids. The care they had for the kids was more in depth than just being their as a comforter. With that said- I really want the show to continue and will support it on Netflix. I watched Degrassi when it aired on CTV a couple of times. When it moved to a different network started to loose interest. Although I did enjoy watching Luke Bilyk's character in recent years.

The new Family Channel version of Degrassi, I have been watching all the way through. But a season of 10 episodes is a bit short. Some of the story lines and the new characters are quite laughable, even through it is suppose a teen drama. Zig, Miles and Tristan are my favorite characters. This has to be one of the most annoying things I have ever watched. I just finished high school two years ago so I know what it looks like this day in age and I have never met a person there that comes even close to one of the characters in Degrassi Next Class.

I mean they are so easily offended by basically everything and the way the creators try to teach you about social issues is just so in your face and obvious you only get annoyed. Try to be a little more subtle about it, you want someone to watch an episode and really think about it afterwards but in this show you can almost finish the characters sentences. That's how predictable it is! Also if you happen not to agree with the point of view of gays, Muslims, feminists or any other group of people you are immediately a horrible excuse for a human being.

This is so wrong because teens should be able to develop their own perspective on such things without someone shoving political correctness down their throats like that. The show had a good idea and turned it into a complete mess which is a shame because Degrassi Next Generation was a cult classic and a lot of people including me grew up watching it.

You won't find any trace of that good old Degrassi in this show. I wouldn't recommend this show to anyone since it is the stalest thing I have ever had to endure. I have not out of free will , sat through 2 seasons of this garbage. I remember nothing, and I feel like I have wasted my life.

The actors are horrible. It is incredible how little emotion you can get away with showing when working as an actor and still get paid. The dialogue is stale, and with the horrible acting on top, it feels like listening to robots trying to simulate teenagers, without ever having met one. They have a gigantic cast, but somehow they have managed to make none of the characters likable.

In an attempt to make the characters more relatable and "realistic", they make every, single person act like morons, all the time. Never in my life have I met any person resembles any of the of characters. So now you have these characters who are not only unlikable, and stale but also extremely unrelatable, which is impressive when the show's purpose is to relate and handle issues that are relevant for young people. So, incredibly after countless hours watching this garbage, and I can't name one characters name.

Lastly, when you then put these horrible actors, playing awful characters in the most boring and moronic situations, it makes the show outright unbearable to watch. To sum it up, unless you like watching robot people in a strangely colourfull and polished environment, talking about practically nothing for 6 torturous seasons, then I wouldn't touch this show with a ten- foot pole. I binged watched this show over and over and I really hope there will be another season! I love this show and it's one of the greatest show of all time.

Quite possibly the worst show I've ever seen. Terrible advice, opinions and beliefs pushed without a hint of subtlety in the worst way possible. Watched all 4 seasons and the only enjoyment I had was at how bafflingly terrible this show is.

A good watch for a guide on how not to write a show, and not much else. So I'm an older viewer but a fan nonetheless. I really love the characters and the story lines. The show deals with a lot of teenage issues that most face today and do it very well. However I was disappointed in season 3. When he found out Lola had become pregnant and had an abortion he showed no remorse, no compassion or even concern towards Lola and I don't think even spoke to her about it or even asked how she was.

This to me was very lax and very disappointing as if to say that men do not have to take responsibility for their actions. I hope that in season 4 they rectify this somehow. I admit, I found myself watching it because it was a show that required little to no attention to understand whats going on. But I think for majority of people they will not get into this. I can see many teenagers getting into this, but its quite disheartening to see such blatant feminism PSA spread all over the show. The pacing and character development is nothing of any other degrassi show before it. There are only 10 episodes per season and they try to cram as much drama as they possibly can.

So what do you get? You get a show with no breathing room. This happen and end all in the course of an episode with the underlying tone of a teenage written progressive liberalism script. The production is quite decent and I do recommend it, if you can muster up the strength to sit through some cringe.

I grew up watching Degrassi the next generation , i watched every season, up until most of the older characters graduated than i lost interest for a few years. When i started watching again it was only on one more season , than it was moving to Netflixs THIS next chapter of the story left on in a way that left me wanting more , i haven't heard anything about a new season. I couldn't connect to this story lines as well as i could in the other chapters, the characters just didn't seem that great there acting was OK. I watched this season with both hope and some trepidation.

Let's face it;the franchise has been in decline since season 6 or 7. However that didn't keep me from watching from time to time. To begin, I actually really like the updated theme song and overall look and feel of the show. I also love the increased attention to tech. Being a tech writer, I can appreciate their efforts. I know kids don't necessarily speak in Instagram or "facerange" speak, yet it's a sort of inside joke to us techies.

The issues are typically Degrassi 'ish'. Let's face it, the show has always bordered on preachy-corny, occasionally hitting the mark, but for some reason, like a well worn comfortable shoe, we always come back. I'm hoping Degrassi can find a new niche and audience in Netflix, its rare for a series to ever get to 15 seasons. It probably wouldn't be possible if all the previous seasons weren't underwritten by the Canadian government true story, check their end credits sometime.

But we love you Degrassi and hope we can all reinroll as "niners" next season. To date, this 'Degrassi: Reason being, as time passes the teen scenarios of daily life has changed Used to be boys and girls now it is a mix of genders which present day are trying to establish gender equality as well I look forward to the future of this new TV Series Hope it goes further than any other Canadian TV Series out there I loved Next Generation so I mainly tuned into the New Class for the "reunion" and because my younger sister asked me to watch it with her.

She is then put on a treatment of dialysis. She is Degrassi's valedictorian, and attends Yale university. Hunter is the younger brother of Miles, and the twin brother of Frankie. He is a freshmen at Degrassi.
